This tea is nutty with a fast huigan, but is a little more bitter and stimulating than Simao area green teas! My personal new favorite green tea! A good choice for a morning wake up brew or a brief departure from raw pu-erh!
Zhenyuan a high altitude area of Simao produces this high quality delicate green tea. Picked twice a year in a 2 day period when the buds and leafs are young and small. The taste is light and fruity with slight nuttiness. An exquisite tea, fresh for spring season.
Mao Feng is picked as one leaf and one bud and is covered in downy hairs. The taste is more mild than the "Zhen Mei" with more floral and fruit notes. The after-taste and feeling is protracted and pleasant!
This Yunnan Bi Luo Chun green tea is the smallest pure bud tea grown in Yunnan. A varietal that is a cross between the classic Jiangsu Bi Luo Chun and Yunnan large leaf varietal, yielding a delicate Bi Luo Chun that can grow in cooler high altitude conditions.
"Bao Hong" tea is from Yi Liang county of Yunnan. It's leaf is quite small and it carries a high level of aroma. The leaves are always picked when very small and fresh during a two hour window of time in the early morning of early March. Comparable in many aspects to a Dragon Well, but unique in its own right.
Pure buds picked in the earliest spring harvest. The buds are small and uniform in size and shape. The tea is processed much like white tea and is incredibly aromatic and fresh with hints of sugarcane and fruit, but with a thick vegetal sweetness that enlivens the mouth and throat.
